Welcome to Project B[i]rdcage!

This is a website dedicated to NieR Re[in]carnation, and aims to try to replicate the experience past the end of service for the game. The game was essentially  NieR 3 , so being able to help make an easy way to experience the game - including additional side content along the way - is the ultimate goal of this website.

This site could not exist without the myriad of people who have archived and kept safe content related to the game over the years, from guides to documents to websites to videos. They are what makes this site possible; this just compiles their work into an easy way to consume it!

This site is not for profit. It is open source and you can find its code on Github. It was actually made so that I could give a friend the best experience of the game who had just finished the rest of the series, so it's available for everybody else too!

SPOILER WARNING
While this site aims to help present the game in a way you can experience it blindly and avoids spoiling future content of the game, it will assume that you have experienced the rest of the games in the series, such as  NieR Replicant,  NieR: Automata, Drakengard,  and  Drakengard 3. ​You are best entering this having gone through the rest of the series first (minus maybe ​Drakengard 2​. Sorry Nowe fans, all 4 of you). You have been warned!
