Each chapter contains some extra artwork for it. One for the start, one for the end.
They have a random chance to appear on the title screen after completing the chapter.

Because I was born into that kind of house.
Because it was the only path available to me.
I am to obey, and do exactly as I'm told.
It's as though I'm some kind of marionette,
capable of doing only what has been decided for me.

I did not enjoy it. I found no happiness in it.
It was simply that I knew no other way forward,
and never did I think that it might be possible
for me to stray from the path I was on.

But I've finally come to a realization.
My path is mine to choose.
I can choose for what purpose I wield my blade.

And so I will carve out my own future.
I will do it with my own two hands.
As many times as it takes.

Whether to kill or let live is, ultimately,
my decision after all.

It felt like the world around me changed in a flash,
and I could feel my body start grow cold.

I made the decision to try and take my own life...

But I still had things I needed to say.
After catching a glimpse of her, I had to give chase.
The words started just coming out. I couldn't stop them.
I had someone who was meant to be by my side
this entire time... This journey helped me realize that.

That said, things obviously can't go back to the way they
were before, but I... No, never mind. I have a feeling
we'll be able to find a brand new way forward.

FOR ME TO STAY WITH THEM.

FIGURE OUT HOW TO GO ON WITH MY LIFE.
BUT NOW I HAVE A JOY THAT BEATS OUT THAT FEAR,
BECAUSE ALL I EVER WANTED WAS TO BE WITH HER.
AS LONG AS WE'RE TOGETHER, I CAN TAKE ON THE WORLD.

This chapter gives the player one of the many ​​Remnants, items that buff characters but also provide an additional story.
